The world we cultivate
This poster focuses on the idea of adults being responsible for the climate in which children grow up. I convey this through the imagery of a greenhouse, a parallel to the idea of how the environment shapes the ways in which we grow. The center of the greenhouse will provide a glimpse into reality of our world today, with words and phrases depicted on broken glass that connect to the issues going on in the world. The little flower in the center will represent a child distraught in the midst of the harsh realities, attempting to shield itself with its leaves.
The ultimate goal is to remind us that we each hold a responsibility to make the world a better place, keeping in mind that our actions do have a ripple effect on generations to come, impacting how they grow, who they become and the world in which they enter.
