The Uncomfortable Path

Acrylic on canvas, dimensions, 2025

The process of creating this piece was a meditation on patience, a direct representation of the idea that nature is never in a hurry, yet everything is accomplished. Using a palette knife, I laid down each stroke of color individually, a slow and repetitive process that left no room for speeding through. Hours passed as I moved back and forth between my palette and the canvas, repeating the same motion, intentionally placing each color. This process forced me to embrace discomfort, trusting that the accumulation of each mark would lead to something whole.
