Unburdened Wandering

This piece captures a moment of surrender as the figure runs through the field, arms stretched wide releasing the weight it once carried. In exploring how a figure can exist within a landscape without feeling separate from it, I wove the colors of the environment into the figure, allowing them to merge and reflect one another. This interplay reflects the way nature has the ability to absorb the weight we carry, providing a constant presence of reassurance. In surrendering to the moment, the figure embodies a freedom that is both external and internal, a reminder that sometimes letting go is the first step toward truly belonging.
